WSP is currently implementing a range of impactful projects focused on advancing gender equality, strengthening social protection systems, and promoting inclusive development. Through national and regional initiatives, we are combining research, technical expertise, and deep community engagement to create sustainable solutions that respond to the evolving needs of vulnerable populations.

On June 11, 2025, the WSP Digital Kids Center opened the doors to its newly constructed learning space, a vibrant, welcoming hub for growth, learning, and possibility. .

WSP is training 3,785 LGA officials in Kinondoni and Chemba to strengthen their capacity in Social Protection, Gender Equality, and Women’s Economic Empowerment. Building on past success, the project promotes inclusive, gender-responsive governance through participatory training, aiming for lasting policy impact and future scalability.

WSP, in partnership with ESRF and REDESO and funded by IDRC Canada, is implementing a project in Kishapu District to reduce the burden of unpaid care work on women and girls. Inspired by Rwanda’s Bandebereho program, the initiative promotes shared caregiving, challenges gender norms, and supports women’s economic empowerment through training in entrepreneurship and employment. The project targets 360 participants across 10 villages, alongside engagement with government stakeholders to ensure lasting impact.
